PixlBit | The original Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64 should have been just another movie tie-in game. However, with Rare at the helm, it became one of the most important games in video game history. The fast paced gameplay and incredible multiplayer made it one of the best games of 1997. After being a beloved game for 13 years, Activision (now holder of the James Bond license) released a reimagining of the game for the Nintendo Wii. Now that reimagining is available on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and the rules are a bit different because of that. Although there are shooters on the Wii, they are absolutely plentiful and then some on the PS3 and 360. So it’s not enough to be a good shooter; you need to be different as well. So does Goldeneye 007 Reloaded stand out from the crowd?
In this hour long Christmas Special, Bajo and Hex review five games, hand out the awards for 2011, and announce the winner of the Batman competition.
"Pierce Brosnan with Daniel Craig and features a re-vamped story to portray the modern day interpretation of the 007 agent"
Why though, I'm pretty sure Sean Connary leant his likeness and voice to the "From Russia With Love" game in 2006 (Back when EA had the Bond rights), so why can't Pierce Brosnan not lend his likeness to a proper Goldeneye remake instead of replacing him with Daniel Craig....I mean it's not even his film, Pierce Brosnan was the Bond for Goldeneye.
That's what bugged me the most about Goldeneye on Wii, it didn't feel like Goldeneye, they may aswell of just changed the title and called it something differen't.
Bring back Pierce Brosnan, if you can't get him to voice him get Kevin Bayliss or even Maxwell Caulfield who voiced Bond in Nightfire (The 2nd best Bond game)
Acti and EA's take on Bond have all sucked, give the licence to someone who can make a good game please.
People will have really high expectations so it might just be a average game.
Sounds like another cash in
Everything or Nothing was easily my favorite Bond title of the last generation.
