The Ten Least Inspiring Locations Of This Generation

In the property business they say it’s all about location, location, location. In the gaming business we’re inclined to say that it’s all about big guns, physics engines and credibility defying breasts. But then we stopped to think about it, and realised that location plays a huge role in the quality of a game

Definitely agree with Prototype - how on earth do you make one of the most exciting cities on earth look so crappy? Dull and grey with little to interact with... rubbish. Saying that, was also disappointed with Crysis 2's city levels!

I'm desperately hoping that Dead Island will create a convincing environment, it's just the sort of game that will need it.

Prototype should have been so much better than it was. Too many controls on the pad, not enough colours on the screen.

A great list! the only one I don't agree with is "Capital Wasteland" in Fallout 3.

I love Fallout 3, but I rarely get a convincing sense that the rubble and landscape used to be an intact and convincing real world.

I agree with msot the list, though i must admit first time i hit the citdial in Mass effect i was impressed with the way it looks, not so much at what i was able to do there. And Saints Row 2 may have a lot of samey areas but the conent of the game makes up for it. Good list though :D

6 Fun Games Where You Actually Play As The Bad Guy

While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.

Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.

It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny

Armored Core VI?

Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.

Is something big coming soon to branch the story?

No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).

Trevor in GTA 6 is a sadist and psychopath who dabbles in cannibalism. Should be top of the list. These game “news” sites should hire people that know games.
