Massively: It's been a huge couple of weeks for Funcom and the Age of Conan community. Unchained brought a new freemium business model, thousands of new (and old) players, and new dungeon content to Hyboria. One week later, PvP fans were treated to the opening of the new Blood and Glory servers, with hardcore rule sets that included increased PvP XP, corpse looting, and a return to the game's unforgiving free-for-all roots.
Believe it or not, the MMORPG Age of Conan has been around for 12 years now. Now free-to-play and rebranded as Unchained, Funcom has released one of the largest updates in years.
Man, this game was SO good when it first came out. Then they came out with that graphics overhaul and it ruined everything.
The Saga of Zath server, a unique limited-time Age of Conan progression server, will challenge players to achieve milestones for unique rewards.
Funcom has announced that Knut Avenstroup Haugen, the award-winning composer behind the Age of Conan soundtrack, is on board and will be producing new music for their upcoming game featuring the famous barbarian, Conan Exiles. A sample from the new soundtrack for Conan Exiles has been released, and can be listened to on Funcom’s YouTube …
AoC's soundtrack is certainly in top 3 of all the games I've played.
Game looks like shit tho.
