Watch 15 Minutes of BioShock Infinite for PS3

Ken Levine: Okay, we’ve teased you for long enough. We showed you a teaser on PlayStation’s E3 stage. We leaked out dribs and drabs of content over the past few weeks. Yeah, we’re S.O.Bs. But we’re S.O.Bs with an expiration date! And today’s that date.
Here it is, a video of the full demonstration that we showed to the press at E3, all 15 minutes of it. We’d love to know what you think at our forums at www.irrationalgames.com.

This look phenomenal. Definitely getting this on PS3. Excited to see how they implement Move, and what a rush skylining will be in 3D.

MaxXAttaxX4697d ago

It's looking really good.

Pre-ordered already :)

blumatt4697d ago

Yeah, I'm definitely going with PS3 this time around. It's funny Bioshock started out 360 console exclusive and is now multiplatform and even being given PS3-specific features (Move and 3D). Looks like a very fun game and has nice visuals as well.

MaxXAttaxX4697d ago

Wasn't really an exclusive. I had the chance to play it on PC when it first came out.
At most, it was timed.

StanLee4697d ago

It's funny the difference a day makes. Last night when the video first premiered it was, "oh, the animation isn't as good as Uncharted this or Killzone that" or "It doesn't look that good". A day later, PS3 footage emerges and the comments take on a much different tone. N4G.com amazes me.

I don't know who's said that, but I'm pretty sure you shouldn't generalize people.
And whoever is comparing these games with nothing alike are idiots.

I loved the first game and this is one of my most anticipated games and my opinion hasn't changed overnight.

I am at a lost for words, this is amazing, and absolutely stunning... He does so many things right here that's it's just amazing -I just can't believe how good it looks.

I can't even tell you how excited I am for this one, wow- this is everything we have ever said we wanted a developer to do when making these Nex-Gen games..

1. Take risks..

2. Think outside of the box...

3. Try to do new things...

4. Make something amazing that's like nothing we've played before..

5. Amaze Us...

This is the list Gamers have cried out for ever since we have hit next gen consoles, and this is that game -and it is hitting on all 5 of the things on the list..

This is a Day-One Buy, I already got it pre-ordered at Amazon, and if you are not getting this I don't know how you can call yourself a Gamer.. :)

I hope they put this video up on PSN because I need to see it in all it's HD glory from my PS3..

My hat goes off to this team, because this is just Amazing.. That feel of the roller coaster, OMG! they nailed it, looks Amazing, all while capturing that scary feeling of really being on a roller coaster..

Love the whole dialog between him and the little girl, really done well.. adds such a nice dynamic touch to the overall tone of the game.. Amazing..

2012 now feels like a lifetime away, I want to play this now.. Can't Wait..

Just Wow... Day-One buy people... day one..

I was already loving this game, but this video just sent it over the top, if you are now getting this after seeing this video - hit the agree and leave a replay saying, "Oh hell yeah"...

Top 10 Rarest Xbox 360 Games That Are Worth a Fortune

Twinfinite: “War may never change, but the prices of rare games do!”

"And lastly, famous Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling helped to create the action-RPG’s setting. What’s really fascinating, though, is that the game was partially financed by taxpayers from Rhode Island (which allegedly lost the state millions of dollars). Yikes!"

1. Now infamous Schilling
2. No allegedly, it did. And they couldn't pay it back.
3. What really lost the money wasn't the SP release but the MMO they were working on. This was supposed to be an introduction into the MMO world.

Soy296d ago

I hate counting limited editions for these lists. I mean, they're made to be rare and expensive. It's far more interesting to hear about the NCAAs (even if most people know that one already) and the El Chavos than some massive hit that came with a $200 statue at retail.

gamerz295d ago

Me too. Here's the best I can do:

El Chavo Kart $90.14
NCAA Football 14 $87.72
Spiderman: Edge of Time $75.94
Spiderman Web of Shadows $75.09
Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions $67.76

Christopher295d ago

Wow, El Chavo Kart is not at all what I expected by the name. 100% looks like a Sackboy Kart game.

Soy295d ago

It's so odd that so many Spider-Man games are seemingly given lower print runs, even if they're not the best games.

jznrpg295d ago (Edited 295d ago )

Most Xbox games don’t hold as much value compared to other systems. Kameo, Blue Dragon, Last Remnant , and a handful or 2 of other games that I kept.

Fallout 3 and Bioshock Infinite are the rarest games of all time.

8 Best Games Set In A Multiverse

One of the biggest TV and movie tropes in the last decade has been the multiverse, the idea of exploring multiple dimensions to uncover alternate versions of existing ideas. From both a business and creative perspective, it makes sense why established franchises are shaking things up in this way.

However, there aren't many video games latching on to this trend, as rendering multiple worlds in real-time is a difficult feat and the medium is relatively young in comparison to its contemporaries, making crossover opportunities more difficult. Still, there are a few great titles that manage enough to overcome these challenges, and here are some of the best examples.

While I love someone mentioning Planescape, not really multiverse. Planes and dimensions, yes. But, they are typically their own locations and are very rarely tied to another 'verse' let alone another plane. The only things that are directly tied are the ethereal and material planes. Otherwise, they are dimensions created of their own design and goals by the creator/owner and not comprised of 'their own version of another dimension'.
