Developers said both versions are same. But fanboys will never stop mumering. Why dont people understand Activision is praising PS3 for its sales boasts since it did not have a good status on the PS, so its trying to gain it and has succeded in it. Remember about Ninja Gaiden Sigma how much they praised PS3 earlier but they are not even releasing NG2 on PS3
The game is rather being published by MGS now.
OK also when gears was realesed epic start praising 360 to gain popularity. But as soon as UT3 relase came closer they started to praise PS3 all this was for marketing.

Both versions were made from the ground up by 360 and PS3 dev teams. No porting for COD4. Playing the 360 beta, the game looks and plays (mulitiplayer of course) fantastic. PS3 version does look a little bit better though.

@24.6, that would be really dumb on thier part. The whole point of multi-plat is to make as much money as possible. If that was really the case, i think they would advertise more on the sku thats less likely to sell, so that it would sell more. They dont make money by making the 360 look good, if that was their goal it would have been an exclusive title.

This games online looks just like Xbox Live. I think they are finally starting to integrate the Playstation Network into the games.

Im think after firmware 2.0 is released the games afterwards will all do this for online.

Its good to know that when games are built from the ground up, they can be just as good or better than the 360 already. Like i said, 2008 will come down just to console abilities, no more bad ports or xbox exclusives because of install base.

Looks awesome. My concern isn't the graphics, it's how well the COD controls map onto the Sixaxis/DS3. Still considering getting the PC version since I can run it on the highest settings in the demo.

I know one of the earlier screenshots were debunked by Infinity Ward because they were different time builds. But later on in october I think Game Daily played the builds which were pretty much the same and said PS3 was little better in Resolution, texture and Lighting. Did Infinity Ward explain that or anything?

I was wondering what comp shots were being used when comp the 2 games and I was thinking to myself it better not be the ones where infinaty ward said themselfs that the ps3 shots were taken from a later build in the game than the 360 and low and behold it was those shots. Come on fanboys there was a article on this very website where infinaty ward said them selfs that those screen shots were 2 diffrent stages in the dev process. Lets see if I can remember right what they said but it was on teh lines of every stage has pass throughs where every detail is added and made to look better. wow. for 2k i could have built an AMAZING pc. yours must be either a year or so old, or a POS because if you spent that much on a comp recently (as in the last half a year to a year) and you can't run bioshock or crysis with settings tuned down slightly you got ripped off..

In New Zealand, the 360 version will retail for $10 less than the PS3 version. I personally don't like the feel of the PS3 controller compared to the 360 controller. Not saying the PS3 controller is bad its just it does not sit as comfortably in my hands. Thats one reason why I might get the 360 version over the PS3.

To be honest, its good to see this game getting quality treatment on all platforms. I just hope they don't do a Wii version as lets be honest, its not up to it.

I have been waiting for this game for a long time.
It is fantastic. The beta was great and the single player demo really showed how polished this game is.I have a very powerful PC, PS3 and a 360 but have no idea which game to get. I am leaning toward the 360 as it is the system that is played the most and the most party friendly.

My wife and I Entertain often and the 360 has turn boring parties into zombie killing good times.

So which version looks to be the best? Well, hard to answer. The PC will have the edge, but I am on a computer all day working so I like playing my games else where.

So between the PS and the 360....hummmm Hard choice. I guess we will have to wait for the reviews to point out the flaws of each system.

It really blows my mind how you keep on being a loyal fan to a logo or something that is at most hypothetical. It is a fact that there have been very few games released for the PS3 and the ones that have actually been released, sometimes much later than the X360 game, are getting lower marks than the same games on the X360.

I am really looking forward to the ACTUAL/FINAL 360 vs ps3 comparison.

i dont think it really matters which version looks the best - its a great game and you would need the eye of that maths teacher at school that used to catch you chewing gum to see any differences
i have it pre-ordered in uk from play.com - i'm hoping it comes sooner than release date or on the release date...
can't we just enjoy the game instead of comparing it all the time like total dorks?

im gettin the 360 version today when it finally comes in to gamestop [im gettin my ps3 next month but i couldnt wait for this game]...

too bad theres no online achievements, i was lookin through my friends gamercard and he already played the game and 90% of the achievements are beating the game on veteran and the rest are things like 4 head shots on campaign and stuff...oh well, that wont change the fact that this will still be an awesome game no matter what u get it on
