Shocking? No...the game looks like crap and controls nothing like an arcade combat racer but rather more like a 3rd person shooter. Jaffe, you should have stayed independent and tried round two at making a good game on your own. You have the talent to do it.

I have one question, will this game have a regular multiplayer deathmatch like TM Black?

So far i have just seen the footage of the muliplayer where you shoot the vip off in a rocket or something. That looks cool and all but i want that old school TM action of blowing up the Eiffel Tower and all.

It has an entire campaing, and Jaffe is saying its going to have a style somewhere between TM2 and TM black...not just in aesthetics, but in gameplay too...

the big difference this TM is doing is that now the cars and drivers are seperated...you start a campaign by picking a character, but you can select the individual cars, apparently at anytime for certain game modes...

but as far as normal deathmatch, it appears that is exactly what the single player campaign is showcased around...or you can play it in co-op with 4 other players locally/online (similar to Warhawk)...but there are multiple multiplayer modes that give you team based objectives where you play as a certain faction...and is rumored to have a uncharted 3 like 2vs.2vs.2 etc mode, where there are multiple 2 person teams...

so anyway, i haven't seen it confirmed, but i would be completely surprised if there was no deathmatch only mode...that is definitely in single player, I doubt it would be absent in multiplayer...

I'll buy it if it's good, I won't if it's not. While I loved previous TM games, I won't buy a bad game just because it's written Twisted Metal on it, not when there's about a dozen quality titles coming this fall. Only time will tell; although I hope it turns out great, as I fear it might be the end of the TM franchise if it doesn't fare well enough (seeing how much time it took to actually get this game in development since TM Black)

I don't judge a game by looking at trailers, nor do I rely on reviews, I usually try it out myself by renting it, playing a demo or playing the game at a friend's place.

Gameplay trailers don't tell you whether or not the controls are loose, don't say much about the overall pacing of the game, usually don't show the loading times ( could have used this before buying DNF and Socom Confrontation), etc.

Not surprising news since he stated the game started as a financial decision. That would indicate that money-focused people have been involved since the beginning and it makes sense they would get more uptight the closer the game gets to release.

i've gone off jaffe since he screamed 'racism' at someone who objected to rap being in his game. thanks to the more commercial rap we now have white kids talking and acting like animals and treating girls bad, some girls were telling me that in night clubs lads just put their hands up the girls skirts and grab their vaginas which I think is because of rap going on about ho's and bitches. It's all very well thinking lets not say rap is bad cos it's blacks and we mustn't be racist ...but it's turning kids into animals. so up your's jaffe and the pc libtards.

Guys "sexually assaulting" girls in clubs is bullshit. The reason guys are so aggressive now is because it gets results.

If the girls would not sleep with us for doing shit like that, we would not do it. If you go to a club, you are there to hook up, there is no other reason to go.

Do not give me that bullshit going to dance, there are tons of places to dance that are not filled with skeevy guys wanting to hook up. You at a club, you are there to fuck.
