Does Team Fortress 2 F2P Change the Game?

Now that Valve has announced that Team Fortress 2 is Free 2 Play forever, how does it shake up the F2P game market? Does the bar of quality get released for both free and paid content? Check out Nerds on the Rocks editorial.

I just don't like the fact that ever since the update went live, I get the serve busy error message and can't play TF2 about half the times I've tried.

A great way to extend the life of the game. I had stopped playing it about a year ago but because of this, I've started playing it again and found all kinds of new things. It's reminded me just how fun and balanced everything is in this game.

But Alliance of Valiant Arms, which is the F2P FPS game chasegarcia meantioned earlier, is really good.

As long as you don't hit the "Play Now" button in the menu, you'll be fine. Most of the terrible 12 year old F2Pers can't work a server browser, so use that to your advantage :)
