"JRPGs in North America these days are a hotspot for heavy criticism. In a day where video games are evolving, many games in this genre refuse to advance, using the same grind-oriented game mechanics and clichéd plots. It had even started to make fun of itself when Half-Minute Hero was released in the fall of 2009 on the PSP. This game did what many thought to be impossible and compressed multiple 50+ hour adventures into a mere couple of minutes each. Once again, the world is in peril in Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax. With only 30 seconds until the destruction of humanity, will it rule the day?"

Welcome back to Xbox One UK's regular reflection; where we take a look at the list of Xbox 360 titles that became backwards compatible in the last month, and try to point out a couple of highlights. This month had one clear winner of course.
EDGE: "The only long-winded thing about Half-Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax Ultimate Boy is its name. It might look like an RPG, it might affectionately mock RPGs, but what we really have here is a bright, brisk puzzler dressed up in a delightfully cheap and tacky fancy dress RPG costume. It’s glib, achingly net-savvy in its humour and entirely irreverent in its tone. I think it’s one of the most sophisticated parodies that games have seen."
Destructoid: "Check out this mysterious image (get a better look in our gallery) that magically appeared before me early this morning. Some of the information, like a date of September 27, is clear. But the rest? Well, I had to look at it for awhile."
Looks original. Gonna d/l the trial demo right now!
Why is this not on psn?
