Greg Hastings Paintball 2 PS3 Footage

"For those of you that haven't seen any footage of Greg Hastings Paintball 2, the video below contains one round of a "RaceTo" match that a friend and I played together cooperatively through the PlayStation Network. Why not just play real paintball?

Elwenil4697d ago

Yeah, a game about a game is a bit weird.

Eh, I prefer Airsoft anyway. ;D

darren_poolies4697d ago

That's like saying playing FIFA is weird.

Elwenil4696d ago

Eh, maybe. I see a lot of people who suck at sports playing sports games though since they love the sport but are, for one reason or another, unable to play it. Just about anyone can play paintball though it's getting retardedly expensive these days so maybe a paintball video game is a reasonable idea. Just sounds weird at first.

CoffeewithChess4696d ago

Well, as some have said, it's like any sports game really. You can always go out and play the real sports, or just play the games relaxing inside.

A few benefits I think GHP2 has, is the price for the game is less than a day of paintball and there are no whelps after playing it.

Exactly my best friend plays for a paintball team and i've gone to the field a few times myself to play and it really is one of those sports that translates really badly into a video game.

TGH writes: Everyone goes through a Paintball phase, right? When you’re in middle/high school and all the cool kids go to the local sketchy shack in the woods every Saturday? I’ve learned that, for some people that “phase” never ends. There are people who live and breathe paintball. Greg Hasting’s Paintball 2 is for them, maybe.
