In today’s video game market, it is not uncommon for a quality game to be overshadowed by bigger and more hype-driven IPs, slipping away without stirring any sort of media attention. It would be saddening to see Going Loud Studios’ latest title to hit the Xbox Live Indie Games Marketplace, Lair of the Evildoer, suffer a similar fate. Therefore, I’ll make it my duty to not let that happen with this sentence: Lair of the Evildoer is by far one of the best indie games available on Xbox Live. It does everything it sets out to do and more, providing several hours of entertainment, and all for 80 Microsoft Points.
Ben Kane of Going Loud Studios has announced that both DLC Quest and Lair of the Evildoer are available on PC, with DLC Quest also seeing a Mac release.
Ben Kane from Going Loud Studios has revealed a bunch of stats from 2011 including sales figures for DLC Quest, his popular XBLIG platformer that pokes fun at the gaming industry.
that's good to hear. I bought this myself...good game.
MS should seriously give Indie games achievements. At least 200 pts to dole out.

"When I’m bored, I love killing some time with a good ol’ videogame. And what videogame makes a better time killer than a nice, old-fashioned twin-stick shooter? Well, Going Loud Studios has just released a wicked concoction of a twin-stick shooter meshed with RPG elements as well as a roguelike feel. The game is called Lair of the Evildoer. Sounds pretty great, huh? But, as awesome as Lair of the Evildoer may sound, is it really worth your time?"
A lot of good buzz on this game, it seems. Might have to give it a shot.
