Ironhammers writes: It’s a short one this week, namely due to the fact that there’s been few new releases lately. However, we manage to pull out a few news topics such as; a tablet from Pierre Cardin, Notch vs Bethesda, the launch of a Tropico 4 demo and Red Orchestra 2 being delayed. We also discuss what we’ve been playing, which is very little… although Bobby does discuss a little Trucks & Trailers goodness. Finally, we wrap up with our question of the week, which thanks to the lack of games lately, asks: “What PC games are you looking forward to?”
Greg Giddens says: "I arrived for my second day driving trucks around to find the boss had other ideas, in fact – and he made this very clear – he said that I’m “not competent enough to drive these trucks in any capacity” and I’m “not invited back tomorrow.” It seems then that my trucking driving experience is over, just when I was starting to enjoy myself. Although I have to agree my parking was pretty ropy and the damage I caused no doubt cost the company a fair bit, and as for reversing, well the less said about that the better."
Greg Giddens says: "A good simulation title gives you the opportunity to experience a completely different role, and Trucks and Trailers certainly succeeds in giving you the truck driving crash course – sometimes quite literally – as you park huge articulated lorries in designated spots, simulating ordinary parking or the more manoeuvring to unload goods. Unfortunately, Trucks and Trailers only really allows you to simulate the parking."
Looking forward to Episode 2 already :) the thought of the devastation that could be wreaked upon our roads is enough to scare anyone :)
