GPT: "Platformers are nothing new to the Xbox Live Arcade. Since the digital service's launch there's been plenty of games within this genre. Whether it's the award winning Super Meat Boy or a classic like Sonic the Hedgehog, gamers have a wide variety of titles to choose from. The Adventures of Shuggy is a new puzzle-platformer, and offers at least a hundred levels for the price of ten dollars (800MSP)."
Hardcore Gamer: A mere $4 gets you One Finger Death Punch, which Totalbiscuit recently raved about, Paranormal, Tiny and Big: Grandpa's Leftovers, Foreign Legion: Buckets of Blood, Hexcells, The Adventures of Shuggy, Critical Mass, and CreaVures.

"The boxiest of all the bundles is back and I have dragged myself out of bundle-based retirement to cover it. Not like I used to mind you, with an ill-informed, rushed and relatively lazy new post, but with insightful (hopefully) and worthwhile (probably a bit of a stretch) reviews of the games. Think of it as something akin to my coverage of the very first Bundle in a Box – where I reviewed the debuting (and incredible) The Sea Will Claim Everything - but with a slightly less penetrative, far more promiscuous gaze."
Gamesta.com has a few more bundles to go to. The latest Bundle in a Box launched its Eclectic Delights, which offer 5 core titles for just $0.99 or 9 games for those that beat an average standing at less than 3 bucks at the time of writing.
It's certainly no Super Meat Boy..
It's harder than ever to pull off an original and fun platformer these days. There's a ton of competition and most of the innovation is missing due to "everything's been done already" excuse.
Not making excuses for the dev/pub though.
