holy crap...

seriously this games not ready for a september launch.

there's tons of dialogue missing, their servers couldn't even handle the stress test two weeks ago. theres still tons of places to get stuck, missing textures...

i think someone's talkin out their ass

This would be awesome but seems like just a pre-order catcher.

Software_Lover4707d ago (Edited 4707d ago )

that is all, LOL

Edit: I mean still sell the game at retail, but no subscription, and just do like Global Agenda and others do with their system. Make you want to spend money.

lol I just want this game out :P

Didn't they say that it might be pushed back to 2012? I hope they're not releasing this before it's finished...

jdktech20104707d ago (Edited 4707d ago )

There's "flexibility" to push it into 2012 from the shareholders but this game is coming out in 2011 ready or not.

Personally, get the first 15 hours of the game ready to go and fix the rest as it happens lol...Seriously though, an MMO will NEVER be perfect at launch and even the first few months....Get the big bugs worked out and we're good to go. If you think ME3's delay was solely for ME3, I think your mistaken. I can almost guarantee you they are taking a big chunk of the ME3 team and putting it on SWTOR. That ME3 team will go back to it's home after SWTOR launches. That's my thought anyway

Plus, if they launch in October and November, there are WAY too many games coming out to commit to an MMO.....At least in Sep, there's only Gears and Resistance (Only I say)

Star Wars: The Old Republic Still Receiving Updates 11 Years Into Release

I loved this game and have played since launch but don't let this article fool you, this game is a step above life support. While they are still technically updating the game, the updates are few and far between and there is a significant lack of quality control, so many little bugs that have been present for years.

The updates felt flimsy to me also. Stopped playing in 2021.

This game got a huge update last year didn't it with more content?

PapaBop409d ago

They promoted it as an expansion yet offered like 3-4 hours of content. The game is amazing and easily one of the best Star Wars games ever made but content drops are so few and far between.
