IGN PSP Review: BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II is a very Japanese fighting game. This doesn't faze me anymore due to my long exposure to and infatuation with Japanese pop culture, but I imagine Lolita vampires, squirrel girls, and calling rounds "rebels" would confuse the average gamer. Even if you don't dig its style, the BlazBlue series has built a diverse cast of characters and rocks an engaging, complex fighting system.

so they gave the 3DS version a 4.5 but the PSP version a 7.5...that says alot...

pepsilover_20074719d ago

It was poor porting, new system= new problems for developers, same thing happens with most game systems

VampiricDragon4719d ago

actually coming from ign it doesnt mean much of anything

I_find_it_funny4719d ago

you say that without reading both reviews... that says a lot

Baka-akaB4719d ago (Edited 4719d ago )

well truth be told , ign's reviews of fighting games (among a few other genres) are usually worthless ...

They'll just basically follow the herd and say whatever else others are writing ...

Do you truly expect more than vague platitudes from them , be tey positive or negative ? Or some in depth look ?

I wanted to get Blazblue: CSE but it's a 3GB download for Vita! New memory card already maxed out :(

dcj05243819d ago

Yeah. Had to sacrifice it for Mortal Kombat. I'll redownload it after I'm done with Jet Set Radio.

RedHawk023818d ago

God I hated that game. Luckily I got it for free with Plus because I honestly would have been pissed if I bought it. I did not like it one bit.
