EA Releases Details on March Madness 08 (New Screenshots)

Experience college basketball like never before in EA's March Madness 2008. Today EA Sports released all new details on their upcoming title, going over features and improvements from last year's edition.

o god lets see how bad they can screw this up. let me guess 30frames per sec like madden08 for ps3 but who knows maybe they will get there foot out there but and make it just as good as 360 version or go all out and use the ps3 to its full power. i seen alot great inprovements over the last few months by alot companys hopefully ea can do the same but i wont buy another e.a. game till i see some changes

Video Game Industry Fails to Capitalize on March Madness

With CBS and Turner experiencing record TV ratings for the 2011 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, the video game industry is sitting on the bench during March Madness and ignoring the Final Four and the massive fan base it attracts annually. And publishers like Electronic Arts and Take-Two Interactive are leaving all of that potential money on the table.

TeamXbox writes: "If professional sports car drivers play Forza to learn tracks, and special ops teams play Full Spectrum Warrior to practice battlefield protocol, then it shouldn't be that much of a stretch to use EA's March Madness Edition of NCAA 09 to fill out that bracket.

We're sure some of you did exactly that: Simmed the tournament from EA's slick, downloadable b-ball game, and filled in from there. EA also simmed the entire tournament from start-to-finish; yet another useful tool for those that flunked Bracketology."

EA levels the playing field with All Play

"We just got a peek at a Wii-exclusive series of games from EA aimed at solving the eternal dilemna of gaming mismatches. Peter Moore introduced All Play a feature being built into numerous Wii titles by EA in the coming year. We watched as Peter Moore played Tiger Woods with an LPGA star whose name I forgot. Sorry, I am sure she's like very famous and is deserving of my memory. Kill me."
