Nintendo gave a little more detail about the short-term future of the Pokemon series at E3 2012 this year, including some 3DS apps and added functionality to Pokemon versions Black 2 and White 2.

Nintendo has announced to remove the free Pokédex 3D from the eShop, on June 17th, 2012, on 11:59 PM JST (or 4:59 PM CEST in Europe)."
