Chris Buffa (Modojo): Sadly, Nintendo has yet to announce a new Pokemon adventure for 3DS, but at least there's Pokedex 3D. Released free of charge alongside the eShop, this virtual encyclopedia lets fans view and collect over 150 different battle monsters pulled from the DS hits, Pokemon Black and White.

Nintendo gave a little more detail about the short-term future of the Pokemon series at E3 2012 this year, including some 3DS apps and added functionality to Pokemon versions Black 2 and White 2.
