E3 2011: Best of Bethesda -- Prey 2 is better than Skyrim (Bitmob)

Bitmob Intern Ryan Perez: Prey 2 wowed me more than Skyrim. Are you shocked? I know you are. Read on and allow me to explain why.

I am NOT a fan of elder scrolls.....but Skyrim WILL be a day one purchase, i was on the fence but the demo at E3 WOWed me.

Oblivion was my first ps3 game, and its got a place in my heart. Can't wait for Skyrim. Now Prey is another shooter, and its not Battlefield, so no thank you, I'm tired of those

Prey 2 is a RPG shooter (RPG elements were confirmed in a 9 minute gameplay video) set in a open world environment.

Watch some gameplay videos. It's not your average shooter.

I really don't get why the first Prey is shrouded in this reputation of mediocrity. That's a game that I picked up and played completely on a whim, without ever checking a review beforehand, and I couldn't be happier that I did so.

That makes sense. I know around Prey's release I was kind of in a period where I wasn't gaming much and wasn't reading any gaming news, so I wasn't even aware of the pre-release hype. Hype will definitely do that, unfortunately.

My only concern with skyrim is that it might end up being like far cry 2, with the dragons respawning as soon as you get out of the area. It might become irritating then

Im glad Prey2 is getting some good feedback but im still little ticked that its called PREY2 when its not really Prey :(, not to me it isnt.

Anyways im still looking forward more to Skyrim.
