Forget trawling through knee-high grass and spelunking in dingy caves: the recently released Pokedex app for 3DS lets you unlock new critters simply by scanning AR codes.
Right now, you can get your grubby mitts on six super secret, legendary critters. And Pocket Gamer has the codes to prove it.

Nintendo gave a little more detail about the short-term future of the Pokemon series at E3 2012 this year, including some 3DS apps and added functionality to Pokemon versions Black 2 and White 2.
