MS has enough Minecraft rip offs on XBL. Is this really nessesary? Especially with the lack of mods and a required subscription.

Just so you know, Arcas (the creator of FortressCraft) wanted to support texture packs and mods but Microsoft will not let him. Just keep that in mind before you start trolling.

Xbox owners don't deserve Minecraft.
you weren't there for the early Alpha when the community started working together to come up with new ideas that Notch implemented.
you weren't there when the community was fixing bugs.
you weren't there to support Notch with the development of the game, giving 100% of the money to him alone (MS will charge a very high royalty rate.

this will not work without community servers and mods, enjoy your fail and pretend you actually are part of the Minecraft community, because you will be shunned.

I love Minecraft, and I want everybody to play it. Even those with consoles.

With that attitude any game with private betas should be exclusives to those who were in the beta test. That's a pretty shallow view...
