Danielmccue4717d ago

I need this inside me now....

I've spent 400 hours on Oblivion (including Shivering Isles DLC) so I'm not surprised by this.

pr0digyZA4717d ago

Not surprised ive spent 200 hours on 360 version and another 250 on the PC version. This will be a long game no matter what, and mods will make it longer.

300hrs?
Crazy...
I mean some game price is 60$ for 5hrs game, some game is 300hrs and even better game.

That's it, imma built me a time machine and travel to November 11, 2011 :D

TheColbertinator4717d ago

Then come back here to the past so you can play as much as you want before release, telling us how good it is.

nanometric4717d ago

1. Build a time machine to travel to the future of November 11, 2011.
2. Purchase shipment of Skyrim.
3. ???
4. Profit!

I'm positive that it won't have that much content. Even with DLC there probably won't even be 100 hours worth of content.

Grown Folks Talk4717d ago

I'll get more than that due to the fact I will randomly do what I wish just as I did in Morrowind & Oblivion. Freedom is great.

Neo Nugget4717d ago

No way laptop will be able to run this, so I'll probably get it on PS3 for now.

Either way, it's bound to be an epic experience.

I'm Replaying Skyrim (again), and So Should You

Replaying Skyrim after 13 years is a reminder of the progress made in western RPGs over the last decade, but also what's been lost.

anast29d ago

I tried, but it's a poorly made game that insults its customers.

lucian22929d ago

nah, only mods make it decent, and even then it's bad, and this is after i modded for at least 3 years

Nittdarko29d ago

Funnily enough, I'm about to play it for the first time in VR with 1000 mods to make the game playable, as is the Bethesda way

The 7 Best Western RPGs: Immersive Adventures

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave29d ago (Edited 29d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
