Game Chronicles' Ratchet :TOD review - 9.7/10

i would not have bothered much if GS had given low score along with other sites (eg. Heavenly Sword, where some sites gave it low score, some gave it high) but this time everyone has given it a two thumbs up except 1UP and GS! and BOOM! goes their credibility.

but then GS must be a heaven for xbox fans!

Zelda got an 8.5 which is a gross underrating and it is a much better game than Ratchet and Clank, but do you see mass Wii fans crying and uploading every single review to this site? I don't, you know why? They don't need to validate the game, because they know it's good (which it is). Such a shame you kids let a website like GameSpot.com dictate how you live your lives (Random PS3 owner: "I m not supscribin to Gamespot n e more!!!!"

I was a bit sceptical to whether I should have picked it up based on the fact that I was one of the very few that didn't like the demo. I thought the gameplay was good, but was expecting a bit more out of the graphics ( Don't hate me).After playing it some more and getting to the second stage I was convinced of this games greatness. The graphics I found where WAY better (enemies where so smooth It looked like I was looking at a pixar film. I know that's beginning to sound very cliche, but people are saying it because it's the only thing that it can honestly be compaired it to)....and yeah! It's still the most fun game I've played (So far) this year.

No seriously, I got the game yesterday and I must say it's amazing! I can't wait to get home and start playing it! It's so graphicaly advanced that it's not even funny! I love the weapons...they are all very clever and I love the enemies...they are halarious!! The stage design is flawless!!
Insomniac is now in my top 5 favorite companies....2nd just after Naughty Dog!

What did people expect from gamespot?? They flopped Zelda for the Nintendo Wii too.. Gamespot made Arron a hardcore Halo Fan review a ps3 game.. so they probaly think they can get away with it. since he only review sports games. im not going there for their reviews because its BS..

EDIT: The funny thing is that this game looks like a platform (and it is) but I feel that it plays more like an action packed shooter. Plus if you didn't already know, has some of the best graphics to date.....if you like that sort of thing :)

I just like this game so much. I've been playing it for 6 hours straight none stop. great graphics and music. gameplay just so get use to it, so fun makes you wanna play more and none stop it. i'm done here.
