This week’s (lack of) new releases May 30th - June 5th (UK)

We at Push-Start knew in advance that the week leading up to (and during) E3 was going to be a little bleak on the release schedule side of things, but seriously this is just depressing.

Basically, unless you’re a Mac ONLY gamer (those still exist right?) who’s been waiting with baited breath to play LEGO Indian Jones 2 OR are one of those obsessive Sims maniacs, then the only actual game on offer for you this week is Hunted: The Demon’s Forge.

Buried Gems In The History - 5 Underrated Games That Still Worth To Play

by Caspar Leblanc:
"When you first started playing Spec Ops: The Line , you might feel that it’s just another brainless third person shooter, and some parts are kind of boring, that’s what I thought as well, but I was really into shooter games so I finished it and I was totally impressed by its story, don’t worry not spoilers, If you want to know why this game is on the list, and you are interested in good stories, go play it and pay attention to the plot, you will agree my opinion afterwards."

The Saboteur was great, nice art style and such a good soundtrack. Hunted was cool but very flawed.

Alice the Madness Returns is still really cool for those who like the premise. The original Dead Space holds up well. Catherine has aged incredibly well. The Suda 51 games are all still great if you can dig quirkiness (Shadows of the damned, Lollipop Chainsaw, Killer is dead). There are lots more, many have had remasters already though.

Totally agree, Alice the Madness Returns was good, and Split Second mentioned in the article was not bad as well

I always felt that Saboteur was under appreciated, I really did like that game a lot. It was a real shame when Pandemic got shut down.

Are the free Xbox Games With Gold titles for June 2018 any good?

Neil writes: "Recent months have seen the likes of SUPERHOT, The Witness, Assassin's Creed: Syndicate and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain given away for free via the Xbox Games With Gold scheme. Now though, as June hits, a batch of four more games are being gifted to all Xbox One and Xbox 360 gamers out there. But are the games on offer this time around right up there with the names that precede them?"

All pretty shite to me apart from Sonic Racing

TheCommentator2158d ago

Assassins' Creed is pretty good too, but in general this isn't the greatest library.

OT: MS is giving away free content again this year for those watching their E3 presentation on Sunday, June 10, through Mixer. This year watching Inside Xbox on Monday gives even more. I don't know what's going to be in either of the MixPots but it's pretty cool for MS to give you free games just for watching.

More people should play Smite, and that bundle is a good deal.

XbladeTeddy2159d ago

Sonic racing was brilliant, not bothered about the others though.

Mulando2159d ago

The xb360 titles are good.
I expect some free games anounced @ e3 or something like that.

Watch MS' E3 presentation and Inside Xbox through Mixer and you'll get two DLC MixPots for free.

TheCommentator2158d ago

"Plus, we sweetened the deal by adding two MixPots to the Microsoft briefing and Inside Xbox. All you have to do is log-in, watch, and receive, to score some free DLC. "
