As previously reported, a huge announcement regarding a new WWE game is coming May 31st.
As shown on the WWEgames Facebook page, all the information WWE fans need will be revealed tomorrow at noon ET on IGN.com, WWE.com and THQ.com.

THQ is just gonna keep milking this franchise and i don't blame them. I am not saying they don't put forward a effort but it seems like since last gen they have always promised so much yet delivered so little
think about this. with last gen's tech some games were better so instead of improving it feels like we only get HD games with bad gameplay

F4WOnline.com is reporting that the video game announcement WWE and THQ will be making tomorrow is expected to be that the "Smackdown vs Raw" name will be dropped from future game titles. The video game will instead simply be called "WWE '12," with the number changing each year the game is released. It's being said that the change will be made because THQ feels there is no inter-brand rivalry between Smackdown and Raw on WWE TV, so the name Smackdown vs Raw essentially doesn't make sense.

lol, it took that long to figure that out? and the sad part is that there was neer was a Smackdown Vs Raw mode in the game?
anyway , its a shame Smackdown Here Comes The Pain(2003) was the last good wrestling game. its also a shame their using the PS2 engine for today's games. lol.
