G4: Renegade Ops Hands-On Preview

G4: "I know gamers love to point to how story-heavy, sophisticated games like L.A. Noire and Mass Effect 2 give us windows into human emotion and touch our souls with their subtle messages of heartbreak and hope, but sometimes you just wanna blow crap up. Based on my brief preview at a pre-E3 event recently, Renegade Ops, Avalanche’s downloadable twin stick shooter, is just the game for those explodey moods. Stuff blows up real good, but there’s enough challenge here to add gameplay depth.

The top-down game is set in a tropical paradise that is constantly being ripped apart by various bombs, bullets and fire-spewing weapons of death. In the level I played, I was driving a jeep-like vehicle, roaming around a huge, open world map, dealing out death in destruction to wave after wave of enemies. In short good, clean video game fun."

FanBolt writes: "Here we go again! Mutant Mudds Deluxe has found its way to Steam. This is a game I originally fell in love with on the Nintendo 3DS and then once again on the Nintendo Wii U. I’ve played and reviewed this game twice now, and now I have a third article on the game. Guess what? It’s worth it!"
