Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction combines the meaty over-the-top action that the series is known for with jaw-dropping visuals and audio. The whole thing comes off like something Pixar would produce if it chose to add game development to their filmaking.

Think about it, that has to be the buggest reason why the game was given a 7.5. I hope Sony learns their lesson and gives Gamespot a $800 Schwag Bag for all upcoming titles like Killzone 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted, Gran Turismo 5 and every other ps3 exclusive. If not, i'm afraid that the highest they might get from Gamespot is a 8.5 (combined).

Now it has lost over 2m viewers to IGN . after this ratchet review it will go beneath 1up.

1up and its affiliates are not that mainstream but come 0n GS ---u have committed suicide.

Gameinformer for instance has surged just behind IGN due to its unbiased reviews.

On a separate issue. I hope Gamespot and thier parent company cnet go bankrupt. Damn MS ****suckers. Ign and gametrailers are my places now. They at least are able to look at a game for what it is.

And yes I agree GS shafted not just Sony but Insomniac. Thats the real sad thing about all this PS3 hating by the gaming media. Insomniac a small independent A+ developer in their products as well as conduct, is hurt by it. Ted Price said it best earlier this year. The ps3 has become the whipping boy of the gaming press. Its a shame Insomniac and Resistance (now R&C too) get caught in the middle.

im gettin a ps3 this holiday season and now there are games i can get without any doubts (warhawk, HS [who cares if its too short, i heard it was fun], uncharted, now R&C, and UT3)

and on the 360 side theres CoD4, Mass effect, Ace combat 6 and bioshock....

expensive holiday yea, but its a good one....this is an awesome year for gamers and next year doesnt show any signs of slowing down....bring on ninja gaiden 2 and MGS4!!!!! :D
