Imagine the sun peering over a score of hazy clouds as violins crescendo to an ominous and thunderous cymbal crash. The opening notes of Guns of Icarus’ soundtrack lay the groundwork for what proves to be an addicting and hectic, but ultimately lackluster and one-note experience.

On October 31st, the online co-operative/competitive zeppelin fighting FPS game, Guns of Icarus Online turned 4 years old. The developer Muse Games have sustained their company over the last few years through a myriad of hardships from office fires, to “vicious publishers” but have managed to garner one of the most unique and fun games the TZR staff has had the opportunity to play.
