Secondly, MW2 plays as good on PSN as XBL as PC and thats from my experience.

Sales does not equal quality, get that in your tiny brain. Does a Ferrari equal a Ford? I don't think so.

Am I buying it? No, but when I find it in the bargain bin for 20$, I will probably pick it up, just like I did with MW2.

I like COD, they are addicting and fun but for me they get old way to fast since they are pretty much the same since COD4.

They might have it, but no way is it as bad as COD. They are barely noticable and at least they don't follow your target around once you aim the sights down.

All FPS on Console have it, but not as bad as COD. Games like MAG, Killzone and battlefield games don't allow me to sit there wait to someone gets in my fire and push the aimer only to have it follow them around for a bit. Nor do their melee attacks do that, i mean really some one running at you and their character lunges towards you when they push the melee attack.

How could i suck at this game? Other FPS i play i'm usually on top score board. How would a game that pretty much the same as the other FPS except aiding you a lot more make me a more of worse player?
If your good at other FPS that aren't COD then your good at COD.
And apparently that doesn't work the other way around. If you good at COD that doesn't mean your good at other FPS. There are so many COD players that played MAG when it launched, and their so called "Skilled" clearly show when they are the ones with the most death and least kills. This happens in so many games, Battle Feild Bad Company, so many COD players saying "this game sucks, the aiming is off"

I respectfully disagree. For me, the lack of innovation in each release is what kills it for me. Sure, WaW and MW were a blast but after 200 hours it grows old. So, when the next release is announced, I expect an upgrade. New features, upgraded graphics, ya know?

Just releasing the exact same game with different maps, to me, is like trying to sell me a $60 expansion pack.

Look at the Mario series. You had a lot of new stuff with each release. Major graphic updates, level designs, enemies, characters, just a great, fresh experience for each one. They have been doing it for over 25 years! INNOVATION.

Compare that to the BF3 trailers where almost the entire thing is made of actual gameplay footage. These MW3 trailers look like all in-game cutscenes.

Well there not really a big difference between cut-scene and game-play for COD games. It's all pretty much the same for them, cause as soon as they end there is no quick black screen or anything. it's pretty much scripted moments.

They just took those parts like in MW2 and shot them from a third person perspective.

What destruction. We see one building fall over in what is obviously a set piece. I'd classify destruction more as being able to chip away at concrete and blow holes in walls with your guns, not a script.

ive always enjoyed the MW campaigns. its trying the COD4 online out of curiosity after the awesome story that made me love COD online

now though, its same old same old, i know il enjoy the MW3 campaign but as far as COD online goes, im done.

Well i just watched the trailer and the gameplay looks fun, but the graphics don't impress. They look almost identical to MW2 with a few minor improvements. Probably going to borrow the game for its SP campaign. It won't even be worth a rent since the Sp will be 5 hours long

If anyone thought the graphics would be vastly improved or even greatly, they had too high of expectations and were probably haters of the franchise anyway. I expected the same engine though they need a new engine for BO2 or whatever is next.....I'll be interested to see what the multiplayer will be....

I know what toe xpect from the SP....a 4-5 hour thrill ride whose story is a bit less than clear.....multiplayer is what makes or breaks it for me....especially with all those great games coming out.

If the MP adds something new, it could be a day 1...otherwise it's gonna fall into early 2012 for me after ME3 comes out and is finished

Before KZ2 and COD4 this would have been news to write home about! but considering that every COD after 4 released has run on 60 FPS this is hardly anything to brag about! Its like a Micheal bay movie. high Octane action but no conclusive story! This engine is dated and nothing looks out of this world by a long shot! games like Crysis 2 and KZ3 have pretty much peed on this! and by the time Rage and Battlefield hit the market Graphics of COD will again be an after thought!

A friend of mine is a huge CODMW2 gamer on PC. I got him into buying BFBC2 for PC since I play that game.

His response was "your bullets don't hit".

Shooting in bursts seems too difficult for some people *sigh*.

edit: Oh yeah, and he didn't like the "leveling system".
Since when does a FPS need to have a fast COD style leveling system to be addictive??
Go play an MMORPG or something if you need that kind of achievement!

Im looking forward to it for a few reasons, one they are fun which is what gaming is about. Two at least with the modern warfare series the hit detection was superior to the trearch made seeries of cod, Also essentially all fps's are the same they all have guns and you run around killing people.

It is sad really. We deserve better. The gaming community has made COD the biggest success this generation and you know what we get in return, same crappy graphics and sterile look game after game. With as much money as this franchise has made....each new COD game should look cutting edge if not techinically at least from an art standpoint. It's such a missed oportunity.

But what REALLY grinds my Gears is Activision completely ripping off Crysis 2 on the NYC destruction. I mean if your going to copy someone at least wait longer then a couple damn months, Crysis 2 just came out in March and was in developement for years. MW3 has been in development all of a year, which is when Infinity Ward splintered in April last year.

I can piece it together, Bob Kotick saw gameplay footage last year of Crysis 2 and once West and Zampella were gone he restaffed Infinity WArd and told them to have MW3 in NYC. No class, Acto or Bobbo, no class.

GOW 1&2 HD collection are locked at 60fps, but this is due to the fact that the graphics are less complex than GOW3. The game will remain the same as will the sales figures. Why make breathtaking visuals when people have low standards set by the first two?
