Will Assassin’s Creed Revelations Have Co-op?

Game Rant writes, "Ubisoft has been sharing a lot about Assassin's Creed Revelations and it just doesn’t seem to add up. Why reveal so much now when E3 is already the perfect venue to showcase the game and all its brand new content? If Ubisoft gives us everything before E3, then what’s going to be left to make headlines against the plethora of major reveals when the media attends Ubisoft’s press conference or get hands-on with the game at the expo?..."

better not...but knowing ubisoft they'll figure out ways to kill it......like releasing a 4th game thatis still about ezio when they should concentrate on the main plot line and finishing it

GameRant4729d ago

@Rybakov,

Revelations is the end of the Ezio trilogy, think of it as Assassin's Creed 2: Part 3. Next year's game, Assassin's Creed 3, will introduce a new character and setting. :)

Co-op is always good if it's an added feature. You can still play by yourself if you want.

Rybakov4729d ago

yeah but why do we need a trilogy for his plot line ending is brotherhood by telling Dez where the piece of eden is (telling metaphorically that is obviously he didn't actually TELL him).....it makes complete sense AC3 should be now not a spin off.....and it should be in Present day with a giant raid against Abstergo in a battle for the piece and deciding the fate of the planet

Nate-Dog4729d ago

I'd say there'll be one more spin-off / whatever these games are classified as before ACIII. Ubisoft said after the good sales of Brotherhood they wanted to make AC into a yearly franchise, they won't do that just twice (with the second being ACIII) and finish there.

GameRant4728d ago

@ Nate-Dog,

Ubisoft confirmed the next game will introduce a new character and that Revelations is the end of Ezio's trilogy, so the next game won't be another spin-off but Assassin's Creed 3.

rabidpancakeburglar4729d ago

No it won't, it's as simple as that

rabidpancakeburglar4729d ago

I don't know it, but it would be a bad move and therefore it's fairly easy to predict that there won't

Quagmire4729d ago

Desmond is reliving his OWN ancestors memory, how would he find someone who was directly related to and ancestor exatctly at the same time/place/relation to Ezio?

fei-hung4729d ago

Co-op or not, I hope it is not half a game like Brotherhood was.

I want the main storyline ot progress as supposed to side stories. Assassins Creed has never been about the MP but the rich and interesting SP. Brotherhood was only launched to introduce the MP aspect and they threw in a little SP campaign for good measure.

I wouldn't be surprised if they launch revelations to introduce the co-op and throw in a short single player campaign for good measure.

likerussia4729d ago

Revelations is a game I am super excited for, co op could work but I have a feeling it'd be buggy, I am however excited for the MP.

Lirky4729d ago

co op shouldnt be for some games especially if this is assasins creed 3.0

Hanzala from eXputer: "With Ubisoft's practices becoming increasingly anti-consumer lately, the destruction of The Sands of Time Remake looks almost inevitable."

Hey Ubi, here's a gun, don't shoot yourself in the foot.

At this point, only dummies have any hope left for Ubi-junk games.

Every industry has these issues

Some companies I’ve worked for were great and some were toxic as hell (UPS when I was a teenager was extremely toxic and I have heard it still is) It all starts at the top. They either hold people accountable , set standards and treat people with respect or the crap rolls downhill.
