GamerNode reviews Ratchet: TOD - 9.5/10

Another near perfect score for this highly anticipated PS3 game has arrived . This time it is from GamerNode and this is what the reviewer said :-

" If you've played and enjoyed the previous Ratchet & Clank games, you didn't even need to read this far. Knowing that Insomniac did what they do should have been enough. In Tools of Destruction, Insomniac is back doing what they do best, and they do it better than ever, This is the best Ratchet & Clank adventure to date, and at this point the best game the PS3 has to offer. Hopefully this new "next-gen" series start for Ratchet & Clank and the lack of great PS3 games will ensure the series finally gets the mainstream respect it deserves."

They are the best developers so far for the PS3! RFOM and R&C are must buys for every PS3 owner =)

Halo 3 94/100, R@C as of now 93/100 I know it want sell as many copies as Halo, but it would sure be nice to see it beat Halo.....

you comparing this game with Halo 3. Just read the review and enjoy the game and stop trying to create a retarded flame war. Some people sound like a bunch of crying babies saying crap like "but, Halo 3 got a 9 and this game only got an 8.5 -- boo-hoo"
Who cares??!! I think just by looking at the range of reviews out there for both this game and Halo 3, you can obviously tell that at times there is a little fanboysim and bias mixed in. My advice, rent the game or play the demo and decide for yourselves;) I'll be picking up my copy of this one tomorrow;)

Sure Halo 3 has a better score (for now?), but you can't really compare them. Completely different games, with completely different experiences. I usually just use reviews as more of a meter if a game is looking worth checking into or not. Go by the composite scores, and if it's high, look into it. You can't compare apples to oranges.

either way, i dont buy games based on review score, but this is a game thats been on my radar for a while, and good reviews do nothing but get me more excited about this.
