The Xbox 360 is poised to have an excellent holiday season with a number of exclusive titles ready to launch on Microsoft's Juggernaut system. With all of these choices, deciding what to buy someone can be a very daunting task. Being faced with these decisions as well, Blogcritics.org decided to research all the upcoming and recently released games and come up with a definitive list of must-have games in each major genre: Action, First Person Shooter, Fighting, RPG, Sports, Strategy and Other.
MW 2019 is five years old at this point and on previous gen hardware, but it is still the best looking Call of Duty game to date.
MW was an excellent videogame. They messed up Spec Ops big time, but aside from this it was a huge step in the right direction initially. Most notably, at launch it seemed to come from a very cohesive creative vision that was felt across gameplay, to story to art style/visual direction. It was also very notably written by prominent ex-Naughty Dog guys that quit almost immediately before release.
That COMPLETELY dissolved through post-launch content and the full pivot to a "cross-mode" narrative that completely obliterated the cohesion in overall story direction. Warzone then "became" the new face of Call of Duty and the franchise completely removed itself from anything remotely creatively "good". It is a pure money machine, so I kinda get why they're doing it....but I personally completely lost interest.
I would love to see Infinity Ward move off CoD and get to make their own product with full control. They clearly have some massive talent in their ranks but it's perverted by Activision's corporate interests.

Scene it?
Army Of two-delayed
Assassin's Creed Limited Edition
Soldier of Fortune: Pay Back
Mass Effect Limited Edition

I have a short list:
MASS EFFECT
PGR4 (don't have it yet)
ASSASSIN'S CREED

Hey guys, I just found out that Burger King has coupons for a $10.00 gift card at Circuit City for any game over $39.00, I grabbed a stack of them.
That combined with my 10% off gamer card should save me $16.00 a game.
If the coupons are not on the counter ask the clerk if they have them.
It expires November 31st, good luck!
My must-have list:
Mass Effect (duh)
Call of Duty 4
Simpsons Game (favorite show, and it looks like fun)
Assassin's Creed
Conan (yeah, reviews are mixed, but I loooove gory button-mashers. I'll wait for a sale/price drop)
Viva Pinata: Party Animals & Lego Star Wars: Complete Trilogy (Something my son and I can play together)
Timeshift (looks like a sleeper hit)
Bladestorm (ditto)
And of course, Fable 2, Halo Wars, Alan Wake, etc. next year.
