Heres Mine.

Mass Effect
Timeshift
Blacksite Area 51
Call of Duty 4
Assassins Creed
Kane & Lynch
Ace Combat 6

I know there are others that I'm missing.. Add in Uncharted and I am going to be one busy gamer.

Mass Effect is a definite must-buy, and I'm about 90% sure I'm getting Assassin's Creed. I was all on-board for Rock Band, but now that they announced the World Tour isn't online, I'm thinking I probably won't buy it. There are lots of games I'm looking forward to, but just don't think they're worth a purchase. Here's that list:

Naruto: Rise of a Ninja
Guitar Hero III
Call of Duty 4
Bladestorm
Beowulf
America's Army: True Soldiers
Kane and Lynch

I'll probably rent these all through gamefly, but they aren't quite worth my money. Don't even get me started on all the 2008 games - my wallet is already crying.

here's mine...

Call Of Duty 4 (X360)
Assassin's Creed (X360)
America's Army: True Soldiers (X360)
Mass Effect (X360)
Kane & Lynch: Dead Men (X360)
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3)
Soldier of Fortune: Pay Back (X360)
Haze (PS3)

talk about a great XMAS and bday this year...

kss6039d ago

sorry dude the only good games on your list are mass effect, cod4 and assassins creed the rest is sh*t

razer6039d ago

Not everyone thinks a game is sh!t just because you do.. Why don't you try putting up your own list instead of wanking on someone else's.

Sez 6039d ago

he only has two games for his list of games this year. R&C and uncharted. because the rest are s**t.

BLACKJACK VII6039d ago

I have a short list:

MASS EFFECT

PGR4 (don't have it yet)

ASSASSIN'S CREED

COD4

ACE COMBAT 6

Timeshift, Jericho, & Blacksite are definate rentals... just can't afford them all... I wish Conan was better, he would be a great lead in a AAA quality title.

Hey guys, I just found out that Burger King has coupons for a $10.00 gift card at Circuit City for any game over $39.00, I grabbed a stack of them.
That combined with my 10% off gamer card should save me $16.00 a game.
If the coupons are not on the counter ask the clerk if they have them.
It expires November 31st, good luck!

Covenant6039d ago

Off topic, but welcome. Thanks for the tip.

Covenant6039d ago

My must-have list:

Mass Effect (duh)

Call of Duty 4

Simpsons Game (favorite show, and it looks like fun)

Assassin's Creed

Conan (yeah, reviews are mixed, but I loooove gory button-mashers. I'll wait for a sale/price drop)

Viva Pinata: Party Animals & Lego Star Wars: Complete Trilogy (Something my son and I can play together)

Timeshift (looks like a sleeper hit)

Bladestorm (ditto)

And of course, Fable 2, Halo Wars, Alan Wake, etc. next year.

royalracoon6039d ago

COD 4 (OK I will actually pick this up in a few weeks)
Assasins Creed
Lego Star Wars (As above my daughter loves it to)
Army of Two
PGR4
Bioshock
Kane and Lynch
Soldier of Fortune
Rock Band
Guitar Hero 3

Plus more that I can't think of right now

Why MW 2019 is still the best looking Call of Duty to date

MW 2019 is five years old at this point and on previous gen hardware, but it is still the best looking Call of Duty game to date.

MW was an excellent videogame. They messed up Spec Ops big time, but aside from this it was a huge step in the right direction initially. Most notably, at launch it seemed to come from a very cohesive creative vision that was felt across gameplay, to story to art style/visual direction. It was also very notably written by prominent ex-Naughty Dog guys that quit almost immediately before release.

That COMPLETELY dissolved through post-launch content and the full pivot to a "cross-mode" narrative that completely obliterated the cohesion in overall story direction. Warzone then "became" the new face of Call of Duty and the franchise completely removed itself from anything remotely creatively "good". It is a pure money machine, so I kinda get why they're doing it....but I personally completely lost interest.

I would love to see Infinity Ward move off CoD and get to make their own product with full control. They clearly have some massive talent in their ranks but it's perverted by Activision's corporate interests.
