wow no hating for this game yet. egm 9.0, game trailers 9.0 think the lowest score i have seen is 8.9 and it was frm some magazine in the UK cnt remember the name. With reviews like this ratchet and clank should be a success

yea i knw. it has 2 9.0 and 9.5 a 9.3 and an 8.9. Never played any ratchet and clank infact havnt really played a game like this since mario 64 but i would play mario 64 again today if i still had it and this game will be a breath of fresh air to the sports and shooter games that have been dominating. Pro evo and ratchet and clank 2 game to keep me going till haze, mass effect and uncharted. glad army of 2 and unreal got pushed back reduce the pressure on ma wallet

sure you get a great "platformer" (still not sure that applies these days), but R&C packs a lot of great weapons and shooting fun.

Explosions - check
Mayhem - check
Run and gun - check

The weapons are always top draw for me in this series.

"the 360 version wont need a second disc since ps3 games never fill up half the space of the blue ray and the graphics are always better on 360 becuz of the extra ram and better architecture so thats why it'll get a better score... logic people

game is way too easy.
Looks to me, one just runs around, pressing the Fire button. Not really a platformer...more like a 3rd-person shooter.
Looks to be a great rental game, however. Nice graphics

You really expect people to take you seriously with your opinion on PS3 games when you make statments like this:

that's what they said in the review. GT also said: "It's a game great for the little ones, but it won't put up a fight for the real vets". "The game is too easy".
I said that it's for the kids before and people called me a biased fanboy. Now that GT says it, you people just ignore that, and you'll probably attack me for it now, even though you know that's what they said.

I must say the "Groov'o'tron" is pretty damn funny though.

its as much as a kids game as The Incredibles is a kids movie...kids like it, but there is humor in there that only teenagers and older would get...

despite the cutesy appearance, these games are worthwhile to anyone...and considering its one of the greatest looking games ever created...it shouldn't be missed by anyone...

and the "great for the little ones" was referring only to the difficulty...and I have seen several 9 year olds destroy Halo 3 quite easily...both games have higher levels of difficulty available, which is better for older gamers...

the difficulty really "ratchets" up, weapons CONTINUE to grow, enemies become tougher, explosions get bigger, AND lately they've thrown in the bolt multiplier for each level that rewards your gameplay with tons of extra bolts as you avoid getting hit.... at all.

And then you unlock all the really expensive cool stuff that satisfies my hardcore itch.

and if it's anything like the demo then I agree, the game is way too easy. Other than the lack of difficulty, the game looks good, and after playing the demo I was just aching for someone to remake a solid Toy Story game. Incognito should do it, it'd be F'ing awesome. It really was like playing inside a Pixar movie.

I think its a solid game that scored a 9.0 because its another Rachet game. Its a platformer and a good one at that but the Rachet formula is a tried, tested, and approved franchise. I'm already looking forward to a sequel and how Insomniac will push the genre further. This is a good entry title.

ok is a good gamenot agreat 1 so lets mnot be disaapointed this is the 1st game in ps3 that actually good but compare to xbox 360 even some xbox 1st year game can b compared to this game graw1/graw2/forza2/oblivion/ha lo3/bioshock/ u see what imean there ony 1 good game on th eps3 atm and its not even out but the game ive listed have scored higher than this gasme and have been out for aaa while not to mention the games like mass EFFECT p.s and lets not forgot the reviewers says it him self the game is a kids game and is too easy but sometimes i get bored playing gamers will hyper real grapics liek gears of war and want something cartoonish and basic like this game or teamfotress.

Just a point out of your list of 1st year xbox games, the only 2 which are 1st year are GRAW and oblivion, which are on the ps3 anyway (well ps3 has GRAW2)

was a first year release. Call of Duty 2 was a launch game and still is one of the best games I've ever played. Rainbow 6 was a first year release to and that was pretty good to.

Insomniac has always had a successful track record as has their partners in crime, Naughty Dog, which leads me to believe that Uncharted will probably score equally as well, if not better.

If you played the previous R&C games, you will know how good the series is. Try as you may, this game will be a favorite for a long time among my kids... yes... my kids... because... it is a kids game. Guess what - kids like to play games as well. For me - The GetAway, MGS4, KZ2... but for the small ones - R&C is the top title.

Whatever the xbots and the biased reviewers say - this title will be a system seller. It is AAA++.
