GoNintendo posted the latest review scores by Nintendo Power which have shocking scores by Fire Emblem and Zack & Wiki.Here are the Results

While the game may not be your thing we have two sources IGN and now Nintendo Power scoring the game the same. If you would like to review the game maybe you should atleast try it first.

Eh how bout a word from a non-biased publication before we close the book on these games.

And what happened to 5 being "average". Seems to be around 7.5-8 from these guys. 6.5 seems to mean utter trash 3.0 or so.

biased? BWii/BT2 is a project coming from nintendo and kuja, it got a 7.5, really biased? that game is freaking awsome.

Yeah, im also disapointed in BW2 scores, but im gonna wait for IGN reviews, i trust those to check how are the games. Im not really surprised for Z&W after all the great things i've read about it. Maybe i wasnt expecting a 9.0(same score on IGN btw), but i did expected 8+.
The one that did surprise me is Fire Emblem, not because its bad, because i LOVE that franchise, but because there is no graphic improvement at all, and because it doesnt have IR support(clearly a GC to Wii port, but great game nonetheless)

Is it just me or all those scores are really high? Well, it's a Nintendo mag so...

Its true its a Nintendo mag but I have been surprised in the past at some of the lower than average scores the mag has given to some games.
I like to see what the average is at a place like GameRankings.com when more reviews come in. One example I see in the scores above is MLB Power Pro Baseball. IGN gave the game an 8.4 and the Nintendo Power Score is 6.5. Zack & Wiki recieved the same exact score from both Nintendo Power and IGN. While some games may recieve a higher score here or there I think to say Nintendo Power gives higher scores to games just because they are in a Nintendo focused mag is not always the case.

Man, Battalion Wars 2 got a 7.5? I've been lookin forward to that one so I'll play it regardless of what the reviews say. Glad to see Fire Emblem score high, as I was waiting for that too. BWII, Fire Emblem, GH3, and Mario Galaxy collectively are gonna put a hurtin on my wallet within the next month unless I can somehow space their purchases out (I already have Mario Galaxy preordered tho and will be buying GH3 for the gf on day one).
