Perhaps the greatest thing about industry drinks is how easily the gloves come off and how quickly true feelings boil to the surface. Such was the case not so long ago when outspoken freelancer Dave Kozicki clashed with Atomic’s David Hollingworth on the topic of camping. To make matters more interesting, FPS-loving freelancer Nathan Lawrence entered the fray, throwing fists at both sides of the argument. Suffice it to say, things got interesting.
What you’re about to read is the slightly more composed follow-up to this epic showdown between three highly opinionated gamers.
Cultured Vultures: In the spirit of preserving some kind of history of this industry, we’ve decided to list some of the best games that you just simply can’t get hold of digitally at the minute.
I just started playing Spec op. I've had it for years on steam and forgot about it. Such a good game.
Honorable mention to the excellent Driveclub, one of the best racing games of all-time and one of my favourite games ever.
Outrun Online Arcade, Sega Rally Online Arcade, After Burner Climax... all good stuff. I keep my 360 hooked up to play these as well as the TMNT games that were also delisted.
wow...I have all of them except the Nintendo ones either in physical or digital version.
Also..Deadpool the Game is missing on that list.
Battlefield Bad Company 2, Dead Space 2, Crysis 3, and a handful other EA games have finally had their online services shut down.
I had no idea that Bad Company 2 was still running, and only now that I know, I want to jump on! 😥
BF1943 is the only online MP game that I was genuinely interested in. Been playing since launch 14 years ago. Hate that I couldn't put in as much time to play as I'd hoped for during the final week.
Dead Space 2...... I wasn't even aware that had multiplayer. Nevermind that it was apparently one of their best multiplayers!
Dead Space 2 multiplayer had been hanging on for years - I'd boot my PS3 up to see some familiar names in lobbies. This will definitely be missed!
As part of the title’s 25th anniversary, that long-established glitch has now been resolved.
Been replaying this on my steam deck now that it's been updated with modern controls and is now fully verified. Have to say I'm surprised to see how well it holds up. Was a great game in 1998 and it's still a great game 25 years on.
Doesn't matter how you play you will get moaned at.
Ghost cruch

What people really want you to do is stand in the middle of maps shooting in the air :)
Sniping is prolly the hardest thing to balance in an fps (well if the snipers are 1 hit kills that is.) I mean you're basically fighting an invisible foe. Quite literally if we're talking Killzone. I dont know if I'd call it panzy but snipers can get really annoying.
It's not so much the idea of people being better than you, racking up a decent K/D ratio is a piece of piss, but more tackling the objective as a group and working as a team... a concept lost on the majority of gamers
I define camping as a sniper taking advantage of spawn areas or other map exploits.
Anything else is fair game...
If I'm camping I call it "defending a position" . Everyone else though is being a noob! ;^)
