Gamer's Guide to Life.com, Friday 13th May 2011: When examined next to one another, there are many similarities to be found between the Assassin's Creed series and early installments of GTA. Andrew Testerman brings the shared traits of both franchises under his magnifying glass and into the public eye in his latest article for GGTL.
GGTL: "Assassin's Creed has consistently been one of this generation's best-selling series - so much so that Ubisoft decided to give it a yearly release cycle. Canny gamers will remember that this is not the first time the gaming public has gone head-over-heels for an open world franchise, and a brief look at last generation reveals several similarities between the three Grand Theft Auto games released for the PlayStation 2 and the Assassin's Creed franchise."
GF365: "Oftentimes, video games have characters who are antagonistic and really not very pleasant. Here are some of the friendliest characters in games where you might not otherwise expect to find them."
This weekend from August 10-14, players can play for free Assassin’s Creed II, Brotherhood, Revelations, Black Flag and Valhalla on Xbox, PlayStation and PC (availability dependent on platform).
GF365: "Most games are not perfect and that may be because of a character or an enemy. Here are 10 mediocre bosses in great games."
The Pursuer from Dark Spuls 2 was great, I think the author just sucks at games.
lol wut? Ass creed probably the most deceiving game to come out this gen. The graphics looks like ps2 covered in fish oil ( not even this gens standard), a very shallow gameplay/story and to top it all... what kind of platformer doesn't even have a jumping button, I mean even GTA has one.
Because GTA4 Sucked
problem...Grand Theft AUTO...thus AC can never be like GTA...more like Grand Theft HORSE...but then again...i dont think the game lets you steal horses
did a lot of research on this one guys...trust me
I bought ACII at the start of the PSN outage and just right now I put it down. I tried the first and second game and have come to the conclusion that the games just aren't my thing.
