Player Affinity writes: "Garshasp: The Monster Slayer is a third-person action-adventure hack-and-slash developed by Dead Mage. An indie PC answer to console games of a similar genre and gameplay style, and it is a very noble effort to mimic what many high-budget games accomplish. It is an excellent first try from an up-and-coming studio, but it also manages to fall short on several key aspects. These problems, unfortunately, mortally handicap what could have been a moderately enjoyable experience."
The Maul Squad write: "As someone who has an active interest in games, writes about them and enjoys indie products I’m supposed to look at a game made on free license software by some chumps in Iran and feel warm and fuzzy. I don’t. Garshasp only makes me feel angry."
Garshasp is a fearsome warrior who must find a mace hidden in a temple filled with monsters and traps. This game takes place before the original Garshasp: The Monster Slayer.
