Gaming Irresponsibly review this incredibly difficult game. Sequel to the award-winning Eschalon: Book 1.
When you think cRPG's you probably think of the classics like Baulder's Gate or Icewind Dale. Perhaps you think of newer cRPG's like Pillars of Eternity or Divinity: Original Sin.
However there are a whole world of classic style RPG's out there that you may have not heard of. Here are 5 you should check out.
Gamesauce says: "Located in the US, Basilisk Games is an independent game developer with the mission to produce old-school computer RPGs. They have been working on the Eschalon trilogy since 2005, and released the last chapter in February 2014. Thomas Riegsecker, owner of Basilisk Games and Lead Developer of the Eschalon Trilogy, shares the story."
GameBanshee has just launched a dedicated subsite for Eschalon: Book II that features an annotated walkthrough, a searchable equipment database, detailed location information, a list of alchemy recipes, and everything players would want to know about the game's classes, origins, axioms, attributes, skills, and spells.
Looks fun.
Thanks for the article.
