NowGamer - Digital Extremes explains one of the ways it's putting its own stamp on the Darkness sequel while remaining true to the original.
Carlos writes: "Although they may have allowed a break for the Christmas period, it seems the team in charge of bringing Xbox 360 titles to the Xbox One via Xbox Backwards Compatibility are now in full swing, with countless new titles being added since the turn of the year. Now we are seeing even more additions being made."
I suppose like any game, if you are a fan, or if you've never played the game before, then it's worth it. The Darkness 2 is worth a replay for sure, but I'd really like the original game to be added to the list. The Darkness was one of my favorite experiences last gen.
I hope Spec-Ops: The Line gets the 4K enhancement like some of the backwards compatible titles have. I love that game.
A feature article on the relationship between mega music stars and the world of gaming
Techtorial: Best Buy weekend sales include discounts for Infamous: Second Son, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and more.
A man is quite assured Shadow of Mordor will be at most $30 on Black Friday after seeing that :)
Hopefully a man can get that and Sleeping Dogs Definitive for sub $30 and then TWD Season 1 and 2 and Wolf Among Us disc versions for sub $20 on Black Friday.
I'm all for them remaining true to the original, but no Kirk Acevedo saddens me!
It's good to hear they stay true to the original Starbreeze game and the comic...i have high hopes for this game! In my opinion The Darkness is 1 of the best adaptations of a comic into a game ever! And 1 of the Classics of this Generation anybody who missed it should check it out, fresh gameplay(RPG/FPS mixed in a way only Starbreeze can manage)rugged variable environments/original take on fight and shoot mechanics/the minions gameplay combined with The Darkness are a joy etc too many things to mention in the gameplay section....Great voice actors/awesome graphics that still outdo most games this gen. Just check it out!
The Darkness was an amazing game... But the controls where sluggish =(
Back then developers where stuggling with PS3.
Hope you guys went and picked up the Darkness II prequel comic today since it was free comic book day
Pfft, changed Jackie's voice actor. Changed visuals. Who knows what else. Staying true my ass. I am a HUGE fan of darkness 1 an these changes are unsettling.
