Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is a brand new game in the Resident Evil franchise, with familiar locales from the entire series. This action/shooter hybrid reveals the back story behind the fall of the Umbrella Corporation by exploring locations from Resident Evil 0, 1, 2 and 3 as well as new never-before-seen locations, such as Umbrella's stronghold. Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles combines first-person, light-gun style combat with interactive pathways, multiple weapons and new enemies to create an entirely new Resident Evil experience that could only be delivered on the Wii.
Now that Resident Evil 3 remake is less than a month away, here's a look back at the other times Capcom reimagined the 1999 classic game.
Numbered entries aside, there have been a whole host of other Resident Evil games, across multiple platforms. Here are some you might have missed.

Hello and Happy New Year from everyone on the PlayStation Now team! We’ve got a fantastic update for all our PS Now subscribers in the UK – you can now get your hands on 23 newly-uploaded titles, bringing the total of playable games up to 150!
Are we ever gonna see psnow in Europe territories such as france, Italy, Germany...
Why are we always getting the same shitty treatment from Sony. Especially considering we are their leading territory.
Capcom has to give the Wiibbles something.
Enjoy Last Gen Tech Wiibbles.
Welcome to LAST YEAR!!!
Geez, do people need to re-state the obvious every time a new game comes out? So the wii won't play RE5, big deal, wii 2.0 will ;)
After playing RE4: Wii Edition w/ the Wii remote, RE5 honestly doesn't even appeal to me anymore knowing how arduous and clunky the controls will be on a standard controller, especially for aiming. The game's controls are already obsolete as far as I'm concerned, but graphics whores won't care.
I'm willing to bet most graphics whores won't bother w/ the Wii and likely will never experience the controls of RE4: Wii Edition, so they'll be content with the same old controls. Ignorance is bliss.
