50 years have passed since Alec Mason liberated Mars. However, things on the surface have not been so favorable. The destruction of the terraforming machine has rendered the surface of Mars inhospitable due to violent tornadoes and lighting storms. In order to survive, the Colonists were forced to seek solace in the underground mines, but what they find there may be worse than braving the storms on the surface.
