It seems to be a topic that has come up time and time again, but are Woman misrepresented in video games? Kung Fu Factory’s co-founder Ricci Rukavina believes so. In a recent interview with CVG discussing KFF’s up and coming take on the MMA scene entitled MMA Supremacy, Rukavina’s response to the question was “On the whole, I would say yes. And I don’t think anyone would disagree with that.”
GIR writes: I honestly cannot recommend the game to anyone other than a die hard fan of MMA or someone who hates money
I'm a die hard MMA fan and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone at all, even if you can be Jerome LeBanner.
G4TV: On the surface, Supremacy MMA feels like it could be a solid notch in the win column for fighting games. Instead, after playing for mere seconds, it's clear the game will do nothing but make fans of fighting games doubt the existence of a deity.
Supremacy MMA might have to tap out with review like this.
I think everyone can agree women are misrepresented but honestly so are men and what's so wrong with that?
As Long As Your Playing Cooking Mama No.
Yes
It makes no sense for characters like Cammy, Sophitia, Ivy, that girl from xblades, Rachael (NG) and the like to be dressed the way they are. Sorry it's just true. They're just designed for sex appeal. And men arent misrepresented nearly as much as women.
Don't just base it on fighting games...most of them have wank material in one way or another.
2D MK girls wasn't that bad. I think when they started copying other 3D games in the PS2 era it got the habit.
Not that I want involved in subjects like this anyway, just saying fighting games have this in all the ones still alive, even VF, the most photo realistic FG has some "outfits".
Play Uncharted and ask that question again. It all depends. Just like any other entertainment medium.
