Sonic? Bad? Noooooo!! Well, a little, but it was great for its time. Nothing beats Super Mario Bros. though. As for Castlevania...

Better than Mario IMO. Course, I was a Sega Fanboy growing up.
And before someone says it, it is not nostalga. I have played through both of these games within the last 6 months.

You do know what nostalgia is? It is the pleasant memories and feelings that you had playing the game when you were a kid being re-experienced. Just because it was within the last 6 months doesn't mean nostalgia wasn't a factor.

None of those games I would really consider "bad". Except for Castlevania 64. A game I thought was "bad" but absolutely loved... Mortal Kombat 1.

The matrix: path of neo on PS2 makes this list for me. I loved taking on hundreds of agent smiths and bullet time, the rest of the game however...eh.

Disagree, Disagree, Disagree, Never Played, Never Played. For me a bad game that I loved is bugs bunny crazy castle. AVGN did a rant on it so I'm assuming that most think it's bad but I actually liked it.

I'm actually glad to see someone say this about the original Sonic titles.

Don't get me wrong. I loved them at the time. Casino Nights Zone in particular was as addictive as its name suggests.

But the author is right. The platforming was atrocious. It was twitchy and imprecise and endlessly frustrating. The game also loved to use cheap shots to rob you of your rings. It was a manipulative, shallow design that just happened to be incredibly addictive.

The best bad game ever I think, is Earth Defense Force 2017. It was so bad it was good. So addicting and fun. I can't wait for Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon. If it is half as bad as the last game, I will enjoy it very much.

A must play.

new castlevania sucks, sonic was not good and only got worse. Velvet Assassin was okay.

lol sonic didnt suck until I think shadow the hedgehog. Most of the stuff up to sonic adventure 2 was good or decent minus a few titles. I always liked Sonic way more than Mario. Both games played the same but Sonic's where always more fast paced which I prefer.Now a days Mario is just a whore.All mario needs is a shooter and a fighter and he will have been in it all lol.

P.S Sonic always seemed to have way better music in its games too which is another reason I'm such a Sonic fan
