A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... Yes you know what’s coming, another Star Wars review, this time LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars. By now the majority of Xbox 360 gamers would have played some form of LEGO game, there is quite a collection now and they all are similar in their gameplay, LEGO go Star Wars III: The Clone Wars is packed with missions, different modes and just like the rest it has fun factor and humour. For anyone who has played LEGO games the concept of guiding your LEGO man around the game, smashing bricks and completing the puzzles is something of a delight, but LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars goes one better and introduces Real Time Strategy to the series among other new features.
If you haven’t played these retro(ish) Star Wars games, today is the perfect day to give them a try.
I am not a big Star Wars guy but I enjoyed Shadows of the Empire on the N64 I found it at a pawnshop one day for $20. I bought it and I still enjoy it from time to time I only own three Star Wars games in my collection Shadows of the Empire and both Force Unleashed games. I remember my grandmother would rent a game console during Xmas she grabbed the N64 and Shadows of the Empire I sat in front of the tv all the time with that game.
James writes: "It doesn’t seem too long ago that I was reminiscing about the LEGO Star Wars game which birthed a legacy in 2005. As of right now however, it’s time to celebrate a later instalment from 2011, while also taking a look at how it went slightly off-piste in terms of the gameplay and the source of its narrative. I am of course referring to LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, which is full of innovation and probably doesn’t get enough credit for the things it attempted."
LEGO Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars is now available to download through Games with Gold on Xbox 360 and Xbox Backwards Compatible on Xbox One.
... but seriously who the fuck plays lego games ? 0_o
