yea, perfect place to do it.

waltyftm4753d ago

It would be nice to see a new one, Or even HD remakes of the previous versions.

Never got the time to play this game - what was it about?

Rapping in a Mic I assume.

BiggCMan4753d ago

No not quite. Its like a simon says, quick time event game. Your rapping with a friend which is another character in the game, then you gotta repeat the steps he does, and it gets harder and harder as you go. Its a lot of fun from what I remember, but this could be nostalgia speaking. I do remember all the songs being very funny and catchy though.

NukaCola4753d ago

It's basically like simon says meets guitar hero meets QTE music game Frequency. You watch a video where Parappa and friends rap and press buttons as the music goes along. A simple but fun game. I would like to see it again. And maybe another title. There was Unjammer Lammy too

Far from it, it was a rhythm - action Game. The "teachers" in the Game sing their line of a hip-hop song and then you repeat that line (by way of timed button presses as an icon scrolls over them).
But you got bonus points for "freestyling" and mixing up the lines a bit.

Yes and it was extremely odd too.
Here is a video of the first level in the first Game lol http://www.youtube.com/watc...

Thanks for the link. Is this a Sony IP? I can see where this would go good with the PS Eye or Kinect.

PaRappa The Rapper was an abomination of a game.
Punch, Kick it's all in the mind!

Grandia, Klonoa, and Parappa... NICE!

MrBaskerville164d ago (Edited 164d ago )

Grandia is especially nice, as I don't think it's available on psn atm. Wonder if it's a psx port or the Switch version.

If they didn't despise ps2, they could have added Grandia 2-3 as well.

shinoff2183163d ago

It's not a despise. Far as I've read their working on better emulation. It'll come.

LG_Fox_Brazil164d ago

GRANDIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Fckn love that game

StormSnooper164d ago

Is it good? I never played that.

crazyCoconuts164d ago

Been thinking of getting Teardown on Steam for Steam Deck play. Heard a lot of great reviews for it.

MrBeatdown164d ago

Played the first half hour last night. All I did was wreck a building but what a blast.

Elda164d ago

Nothing of interest for me. My sub is up in 2 weeks & I'll go with Essentials only for cloud saves & online. Having Extra or Premium is a waste for me seeing most games that land on the service are old that I've played already or old games I never had any interest in playing.

crazyCoconuts164d ago

Respect your opinion, just pointing out that Teardown is a Day One Extra release for PS, not an old game in this case. Gotham Knights last month was a year old.

Elda164d ago

I have no interest in Teardown. I bought & played Gotham Knights when it was first released in October 2022. Every month I'm always buying the latest AAA or AA games when they first release to play on my PS5, the very reason why Extra & Premium is a waste of money for me.

I would also include Super Metroid and the original Shin Megami Tensei on the SNES. Both had superb soundtracks!

Brueske1027d ago

Vigilante 8 and Vigilante 8 2nd Offense had awesome original soundtracks.
