"The Conduit was released on June 23, 2009 as a Wii exclusive. The game had a lot of coverage/hype leading up to its release, and its developer, HVS, was very active in promoting the game.

While the game wasn't perfect, it resulted with a game engine and foundation for HVS to build off of. It was revealed in March 2010 that HVS was working on a sequel to The Conduit, Conduit 2, which just released yesterday.
