Extended Footage of Sonic Generations Green Hill Zone

It seems that after 13 years, SEGA has finally rediscovered form with the fastest hedgehog alive. Sonic games have been the subject of ridicule ever since the series made its switch to the Dreamcast in 1998, we’ve suffered through poor controls, needless RPG’s and Warehogs but there finally seems to be light at the end of this tunnel.

Sonic Colors was released with very positive reception in 2010 and it looks set to get even better with Sonic Generations, taking us on a ride in the much adored

Has finally Sega listened? Is this going to be a great Sonic game after good awful whole decade of Sonic games , including that turd of Sonic 4.. tricking Sonic fanboys each and ever time. This video looks really goood...

Or are we getting tricked once again? 3D parts not so sure though even though looks great and fast.

Each and every time dumb sonic fanboys fell of awful games.

Yeah I remember the first level of Sonic Unleashed was playable but the rest of the game was utter waste of time , money and effort.

Hope this one does not make that mistake once more.

Sonic welcome back home to Mobius.

Incredible

Am I the only one who enjoyed Adventure 2B, Heroes, Unleashed, Colors. Please just let these B Zones again, and no human interaction. Not everything about the ones before were bad, just somethings weren't needed.

If Sega can do this then we can get a new Jet Grind Radio, Streets of Rage,(Yuzo Koshiro), Shinobi (Hideki Kamiya), and Shenmue 3.

Who said SEGA was sleep?

MidnytRain4757d ago

Ah, Green Hill Zone! I think Sonic was one of the first games I had ever played back when my brother and I had a Sega. :)

Sega sells Relic and will cut 240 jobs across UK studios

GamesIndustry.biz writes: "Relic is best known for the Company of Heroes and Dawn of War games, and recently developed the new Age of Empires for Microsoft. Relic will transition to an independent studio and will no-longer be part of the Sega group of studios.

The majority of the 240 job cuts are across Creative Assembly and Sega Europe, while there will be a ‘small number’ cut from Sega HARDLight. There was no mention of other Sega UK studios, including Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive."

Shame about Creative Assembly, they should have just been allowed to do an Alien Isolation sequel.

just_looken31d ago

It was that garbage coh 3 that did them in only a special team can make a sequel worse in every way even though it was a 10 year gap and the same era.

gold_drake31d ago

I hope they find new jobs in the industry soon.

Jingsing31d ago

Two Point Studios and Sports Interactive probably run on a shoe string budget so that fits into SEGA better lol

SEGA’s Switch Predecessor: What Happened to the Nomad?

Sega had such a turbulent existence from the mid-90s to when they dropped out of console manufacturing entirely in 2001, it’s understandable if you’ve never heard of the Genesis Nomad.
