Gamer's Guide to Life.com, Sunday 18th April 2011: Civilization addict, all-around history nerd and GGTL Copyeditor Greg Mengel pulls out his college notes to offer his choice of 25 civs that should be offered as DLC for Civ V.
GGTL: "To effectively alter the course of history, one must have tools to work with. In Civ, these tools are civilisations themselves. The more you have available, the more you can change the course of human experience, tweaking its story into something utterly historical and wonderfully unique. Here are, in two parts, 25 civilisations that should be welcomed with open arms into the melting pot of Civilization V, complete with possible Special Units, Special Buildings, Special Abilities, and explanations from my history major brain as to why I selected each."
With E3 starting next week, 2K Games revealed the biggest E3 line up they have for the year

The help desk platform used by 2K Games for its customer support has been hacked, with malicious emails sent to certain players.
I was one of those users that got an email. Good thing I didn't open it. The email is from actual 2k support so I'm sure many people opened them. Scary stuff Take Two. You guys should invest some of your billions of dollars into some advancements for network security. I wonder who's getting hacked next at Take Two. First GTA 6 and now this.
What a goddamn superb article. A marvel for history geeks.
Pure and utter genius. This is written gold, sir! Kudos!
Great list, looking forward to seeing what makes the cut for the 2nd article.
Misspelled: civilisations
The more troubling question about Civ is the lack of African nations represented.
I think they should add the Atlantians and the Sumerians, as I believe there is more to our history than than what mainstream science and historians are prepared to research. There is mounting evidence that there was a great global society that dates back to more than 12,000 years ago.
