GEV says: For the last few weeks, we’ve been playing around with an interesting new-ish game here at the GamesEyeView offices. We’re talking of course about Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2011. We’ve actually had a few writers spend significant time with the game and while the review may not be as relevant today as it would have been, oh say, a few months ago, we still wanted to share our thoughts with you, the reader, on this entry into the hunting game genre.
Backlog Quest is a month long special event on Clearance Bin Review featuring daily game reviews of the games that have sat on the shelf for simply too long; old and new.
From Day 1 – Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2011, Tristan Rendo writes "I had seen them in stores quite a bit, and there is no shortage of them, so I had wondered for quite some time just what these Cabela’s games had to offer. I tried MAG when it first was patched, and had a hard time keeping it level, and became motion sick. Killzone 3 is a close second, but the easiest to pick up and play is,
Resistance 3? Nope, while I haven’t tried Resistance 3 yet, I haven’t read pleasant things about it.
FAIL!
Whats the best flavor ice cream? Vanilla? Nope, I haven't tried vanilla yet...
I will save people the click and just come out and tell you what that game was. It was Cabela's Dangerous Hunting 2011.
Honestly, I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I guess I would be crying if this guy was really that dumb to think Cabelas Hunting is better because, gameinformer had a video that tells a completely different story (hint: it sucks).
