OK Capcom, We Get it. Leon Must Die

Hell Descent: Leon must die. This concept was reinforced by concept art released today on the official Resident Evil Facebook page. A nice image crafted up by the guys behind Operation Raccoon City shows this off well. They really dislike Leon.

You guys do know its not a story based game right. Its scenarios. Like a cartoon sort of in a way. You play one mission set you kill team A. You play another team B dies. Each with their own unique episodes. Its kinda like that.

Nothing to do with RE main plot storyline.

if that is the case, then this game will be great, cause that sounds a lot like RE:outbreak which in my opinion was an amazing game, i just want a RE game(that is more survival based) to play online co-op with my friends, i really wish the RE:Outbreak servers were still up :(

Easy. After he completely took the spotlight from Claire by doing flips, explosions, shooting guns, and making out in a giant pool of water all at once in Resident Evil: Degeneration, I really don't think we need more Leon.

Who the hell thought that it'd be good to have Leon do all the hero shit while Claire did nothing but just stare at computer monitors?

Leon is easily my favourite character from the series. I hope the next numbered game has him as the main character.

I know the game isnt Canon but I'm curious as to why they would want to kill Leon since at the time of RE2 he was unkown to Umbrella and not important.
