A ground-up redesign of the original EyePet, this sequel is feature two EyePets simultaneously, along with expanded customization and socialization options.
TP: Obviously a game like EyePet & Friends wasn't meant for the "gaming crowd", but rather for the children of that crowd who (hopefully) aren't going to be allowed to play Saints Row: The Third and probably can't handle the intricacies even of something like ICO. Those same kids don't want to be left out in the cold in a gaming household, so Sony wants to make sure they get hooked early with titles like EyePet.
Sounds like great fun for the kids, especially now you get 2 pets on screen instead of 1.
Thats cool, a bit early for a sequel...
They have been able to get more Moves out there thanks to games like kill zone. May be the thinking is: many of those core gamers will now buy this new version and play it with the kids or little siblings. I don't think they have been able to penetrate the casuals so far.
Didn't tretton say that no self repecting 20 year old would play the DS because it's a kids babysitting tool?! Yet here we have a game that fits that statement on PS3!
God damn it Sony! Stop working on useless shit like Home and Eyepet and give me Eight Days and The Getaway back!
Hey Skittles!
