Sounds like great fun for the kids, especially now you get 2 pets on screen instead of 1.

I think they should have a variety of animals..even though they look adorable and all...imagine having a sackboy/girl as PET !!!^_^ that would be awesome lol

Thats cool, a bit early for a sequel...

It came out in the UK much earlier than in America, if that's what you're thinking.

They have been able to get more Moves out there thanks to games like kill zone. May be the thinking is: many of those core gamers will now buy this new version and play it with the kids or little siblings. I don't think they have been able to penetrate the casuals so far.

It's true. I'm one of the few people in America who bought EyePet or Start The Party...which are both great games.

The casual audience is easier to reach in the UK, apparently. The EyeToy sold well over there in the PS2 days. The Move sold well there this year.

With more casual games, No More Heroes, Sorcery, Resistance 3, Socom 4, and the rest...it should continue to gain fans.

Didn't tretton say that no self repecting 20 year old would play the DS because it's a kids babysitting tool?! Yet here we have a game that fits that statement on PS3!

God damn it Sony! Stop working on useless shit like Home and Eyepet and give me Eight Days and The Getaway back!

TotalPlayStation: EyePet & Friends Review

TP: Obviously a game like EyePet & Friends wasn't meant for the "gaming crowd", but rather for the children of that crowd who (hopefully) aren't going to be allowed to play Saints Row: The Third and probably can't handle the intricacies even of something like ICO. Those same kids don't want to be left out in the cold in a gaming household, so Sony wants to make sure they get hooked early with titles like EyePet.

The EyePet is exceptionally creepy looking.

How the hell is the little doggy type thing creepy?
Kids absolutely love it whats wrong with you?

MultiConsoleGamer4529d ago

Kids don't like this game at all and the series is a flop in America.

Its a hideous little demon looking thing, soulless and evil just like Sack Boy
